SCOUT

MOTTO

The scout movement is basically the youth movement. Therefore the programmes have seen designed for the all round development of the personality of the students. This was the dream and foresight of Lord Baden Powell, the founding father of the scout movement in the year 1907. A boy who has completed 10 but not 17 years of age i.e eligible to become a scout. By the time a scout will be able to reflect the scout motto, promise and law in his day to day activities.

Scout Motto: Be prepared.

Scout Promise: On my honour, I promise that I will do my best. To do my duty to God and my country, To help other people and To obey the Scout Law.

Scout Law: A Scout id Trustworthy,  Loyal, Friend to all and brother to every other scout courteous, friend to animals and loves nature, Disciplined and helps protect public property, Courageous, Thrifty and pure in thought word and deed.

Scout in our school: In the session 2023-24, we have 2 units of scout tropes consisting of 47 no.s of scouts i.e 23 no.s from class-Vi, 17 no.s from class VII and 07 no.s from class-VIII.

ACHIEVEMENT

  • A one day scout guide camp was held on 24.09.2023 in our school premises. Mr Niranjan Panigrahi (Dist. Organiser Scouts) and Mr Santosh Pradhan ( Dist. Trainer Scouts) conducted the basic training.
  • 25 scouts had participated in Republic Day parade and Independence day parade at Netaji stadium. Scout Deepansu parade of class- Vi was awarded with trophy for best turnout.
  • All the scouts also participated in cycle raly held on the eve of Swachha Bharat Abhiyan.s

 

GUIDE

MOTTO

Guide motto is “BE Prepared”. This has to be achieved by being physically strong, mentally awake & morally straight. The Guide Motto calls on Guides to be ready in mind and body for all emergencies. This motto means that the Guide should get herself trained properly and she equipped with necessary knowledge and skill.

The Guide wing of our school consist of two units. This year 48 students are there. Among those 22 students attended “ Trutiya Sopan” held at ADAV High School , Sunabeda.  11 students attended Rajya Puraskara Exam at Govt. boys’ High School at Koraput.

ACHIEVEMENT

1) A Guide camp was held on 24.09.2023 in our school premises. Mr Niranjana Panigrahi (District Organiser) & Mr Santosh Pradhan (District Trainer) conduct the Basic training of Guide.

2) 25 students had participated in 26th Republic Day & 15th August Parade at Netaji Stadium.

3) Students also participated in a cycle Rally held on the eve of environment day.

4) Students also celebrated Bano Mahatsova day on 07.07.2024. Students planted around 50 trees. Mr P.K.Sahu (Member Admn.) and Mr Sanjeev Kar and Principal of our institution planted many trees within school premises.
